In South Salem, NY on Wednesday and Saturday mornings the South Salem Winery and Garden Center hosts a farmers market with little tents where farmers and small bakers display and sell their baked goods and farm-fresh produce. You can pick anything from farm fresh eggs and Milk, fresh-baked bread, and apple pie to batch whisky, vodka, and beer. Oh, I didn't mention fresh vegetables and other types of produce.
